ABOUT THE PROJECT

This labor of love is inspired by the City of Women map found in Nonstop Metropolis: a New York City Atlas. What if I could actually bring to life the iconic NYC subway map reimagined with only women’s names? Research, photography, telling each story, claiming by naming. 425 stops. 425 women. Let’s change the maps, yes?
